The tense situation in the region, the possible evolution of the crisis and the measures taken by the authorities to diminish the risks of eventual military actions in Ukraine were discussed in an online meeting of the President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu and resident ambassadors of EU member states in Chisinau, IPN reports, quoting the presidential press service.
President Sandu said the life and safety of citizens is a priority, noting the Republic of Moldova will further support the neighboring country.
The discussions also centered on the current problems faced by the Republic of Moldova, such as the energy and pandemic crises, including the situation in the economic sector and the rise in prices.
President Maia Sandu underlined that finding solutions to help the people in difficulty is one of the major concerns of the authorities. She reaffirmed the governmental team’s determination to continue doing the initiated reforms, especially in the economic and justice sectors.
