The team of the candidate for President of the center-right opposition Maia Sandu on November 10 staged an event to declare general election mobilization. This walked on streets of Chisinau and called on the people to go and vote for a better future for Moldova on November 13, IPN reports.
“Only several days remained until November 13 and we declare general election mobilization. We must all mobilize and give the last blow to this mafia clan that came to power long ago and does not want to leave. What can you do? The first thing you can do is to take you phone and call your friends, relatives and talk to them and tell them how important is for everyone to go and vote,” stated Maia Sandu.
The candidate for President said this campaign was a difficult and dirty one, while her opponent Igor Dodon used lies and tried to manipulate and misinform the people.
Within the event, Maia Sandu said her priorities as President will be to clear the state of corrupt people and thieves and to name to posts only honest and independent persons able to contribute to restoring the people’s confidence in the state institutions. “Advancing the investigation into the theft of the US$1 billion is another important thing that we will do during the very first days. We will make approaches to all the international organizations and foreign governments that can help us track and recover the stolen money,” she stated.
The candidate also said that she will contribute to the stabilization of cohesion in society for the people not to be divided by ethnicity, the spoken language and religion.
