The conditions of holding the Baccalaurean exams in the 2014 session will not be toughened up, said Minister of Education Maia Sandu. The official told a news conference that the supervision cameras will be kept and other measures will be taken to ensure the correctness of the assessment, but this does not mean that the conditions will be tougher, IPN reports.

“We will take all the measures to make sure that the assessment is correct,” said Maia Sandu. The measures will be made public soon, when the examination methodology for 2014 is presented.

In the news conference, Dan Mocanu, a student of the Chisinau Lyceum “Spiru Haret” who is a founding member of the Student Council, said the students formulated a set of recommendations for holding the Baccalaureate exams and submitted them to the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of education. One of the recommendations is to ban the supervisors from wearing shoes with high heel as the noise produced by such heels distracts the students.
