The European Action Movement (MAE) launched a brochure on July 16, called 'The Story of a Hero', about the life of Valeriu Boboc, the young man having died after the April 7 riots. The presentation has taken place in front of the Emergency Hospital in Chisinau, where the man's corpse is reported to have been found, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“This man was not indifferent to what happened on April 7 on the Great National Assembly Square. He was an ordinary protester and did not throw stones at those two buildings. Died a man who should have raised his child and enjoyed life, but it was not to be so,” said MAE leader Anatol Petrencu.
The politician has accused the government of being guilty of Valeriu Boboc's death and criticized the Communist regime for “not punishing anyone for this crime.” “The ones having applied violence now walk among us and we do not realize that,” Petrencu said.
The brochure has pictures of the Boboc family and will be distributed to the ones willing to know this brave young man, Anatol Petrencu said.
MAE says it will demand the leadership to declare April 7 a day of national mourning in Moldova.
Petrencu has called on voters to vote “for Valeriu Boboc”, that is “against Communism” on July 29.
The European Action Movement announces it will withdraw by the end of the race in favor of the Liberal parties with chances to enter the parliament – PL, PLDM and AMN, but, till then, it will participate in electoral debates trying to persuade the people to vote “to get Communism down.”
