No member party of the Alliance for European Integration accepted the invitation of the European Action Movement (MAE) to sign an agreement on political stability whereby the parties would pledge to remain united in front of the PCRM after the elections as well, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Frankly speaking, we did not expect that representatives of the parties invited to sign this historical agreement will come,” MAE president Veaceslav Untila said in a news conference. “This agreement aims to establish stability after the elections, as a guarantee that we will all overcome the political crisis. It is a guarantee that we will focus on ensuring welfare.” According to Veaceslav Untila, the MAE will continue to plead for the reformation of the political class so that the politicians are obliged to work for the people’s benefit. By the agreement, the MAE proposed the parties of the Alliance for European Integration not to form alliances outside this framework and to designate the candidate for the post of head of state by a majority vote of the leaders of the signatory parties.
