M1's flagship news broadcast marks 20th anniversary with new logo, structure

Mesager, the flagship news program of the public television channel Moldova 1 and perhaps the country's most popular newscast, will appear from July 1 with a new logo and a new structure to mark its 20th anniversary, Info-Prim Neo reports. “We will keep the tradition to have just one anchor in the studio. New faces will appear on the screen, including Vitalie Gutu, Elena Gudumac, Oxana Rusu”, announced Angela Sirbu, the channel's director. She went on to add that Mesager will have a clearer structure. The duration of the broadcast and the starting hour remain unchanged. “We will try to make the bulletin more dynamic, to introduce more rubrics, so that one could easily follow it for half an hour”, said Angela Sirbu. The background in the studio will be in a slightly different color palette, but blue will remain prevailing, as this is also the color of the channel. The anniversary issue of Mesager on July 1 will be presented by Larisa Manole and will feature special reports about its history. Mesager first aired on 1 July 1990.
