The Government will examine the possibility of introducing a common income tax rate for private individuals and legal entities and a luxury tax for private individuals with high incomes. The proposal is contained in the Government’s program that will be presented before the MPs on February 12, IPN reports.
The system of road taxes and the systems of taxing holders of entrepreneur’s patent and the revenues of the non-state pension funds will be reviewed, while the VAT refunding procedure will be simplified. The executive also suggests adopting a new Labor Code, a new Tax Code and a new Customs Code.
A common Moldova – Romania – Ukraine program will be launched to connect the three countries by a high-speed railway passenger transportation service. Policies will be promoted to provide the young people and the socially deprived groups of people with homes.
As regards labor and migration, the program envisions gradually raising the minimum official salary so as to increase the social protection of employees with low salaries. There will be examined the opportunity of instituting the basic pension and will be implemented a salary system motivating the teaching staff. The curriculum will be modernized so as to ensure the relevance of studies and full social-professional integration.
