Lupu on cabinet shuffle: there will be replacements on Democrats' part

Democrat leader Marian Lupu says his party will soon make its part of replacements in the latest cabinet shuffle. He told an interview with Radio Europa Libera that, while not many, there will be replacements on the part of the Democrats. “Fresh blood, fresh human resources, provided that they are more efficient than the prior job holders, do play an important role. But we should not absolutize the role of a leader, because in most cases team-work is what's more important in ministerial work. Interaction between ministries and ministers is also key”, said Marian Lupu. The Democrat leader went on to emphasize that the current ministers proposed by his party have so far proved themselves to be very responsible professionals. “We did a great deal of thinking before nominating them. But some segmentary (sic) replacements are not excluded at all. So, as soon as we make the final conclusions in this regard, they will be made public”, stated Marian Lupu. The latest replacements in the Filat Government were made among the ministers of the Liberal Democratic Party: Alexei Roibu and Mihail Sleahtitchi were dismissed from the posts of Interior Minister and Education Minister, respectively.
