The Ludobus will travel again before the winter holidays. It will go to settlements affected by this year's floods, the head of the Friends of Children Association Tatiana Lungu told Info-Prim Neo. The Ludobus is a mobile ludothèque that brings different games and recreational activities to institutionalized children and children from affected areas. Every week, the Lubobus will travel to schools in Nemteni, Leudeni and Obileni villages of Hancesti district and Ghioltosu and Gotesti villages of Cantemir district with a team composed of eight persons – animators and volunteers – and a psychologist. The activities in every school will last for two hours. Every volunteer is responsible for a creative workshop – games, origami, drawing on glass, etc. About 100 children are involved in the activities. Parents and teachers also take part in them to present a model of spending the free time and to help facilitate communication between them. The project “Ludobus – Psychosocial Support for Children Affected by Floods” is implemented by the Friends of Children Association with support from UNICEF Moldova. The Friends of Children Association was founded in 2002 to protect children's rights.
