A consignment of Sputnik V vaccine is to be delivered to the Republic of Moldova. The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection said the delivery was confirmed verbally. On his Facebook page, the Socialist leader Igor Dodon said the lot will be shipped to Chisinau in the evening of June 18, IPN reports.
“We are waiting for confirmatory documents, with compete information about the number of doses, date and hour of delivery,” said the Ministry of Health.
Igor Dodon said that the plane is expected to take off from Moscow at 9pm and to land in Chisinau at 11:00-11:30pm. Owing to the efforts made by the leaders of the Party of Socialists, to his personal agreements with Vladimir Putin and to the request letter of Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grechanyi, Moldova will get humanitarian assistance from the Russian Federation.
