Crowdedness continues to be reported at polling stations abroad. Long lines with over 100 voters formed at polls in Canada, Israel, Belgium, France, the UK, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.

Lines of fewer than 100 persons are there in Prague, Munich, several cities in Italy, such as Modena, Padova, Florence, and in the Romanian cities Timișoara and Cluj-Napoca.

CEC president Dorin Cimil said the public order bodies in a number of countries submitted multiple notifications, which shows that the epidemiological requirements are not met. He called on the diaspora to strictly obey the sanitary rules in the host countries that allowed the Moldovans to vote despite the challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Moldovan voters who are in countries where there are more polling stations can learn where there are the three closest polling stations by visiting the
application developed by the CEC.
