Location contracts signed before July 21 between public and private medico-sanitary institutions will be valid until expiry date

Location contracts signed before July 21 2006 between private and public medico-sanitary and pharmaceutical institutions will be valid until their initial expiry date. The parliament adopted a decision on this topic on Friday, October 13. The legislative made the mentioned modifications at the initiative of the president of the Republic of Moldova. As the head of state believes, without these modifications, private medico-sanitary and pharmaceutical institutions that signed long-term location contracts with public institutions could be seriously influenced by the new law, and the new law might not be applicable to them. On July 21, the Parliament approved in the second lecture a law project that foresees that private medico-sanitary and pharmaceutical institutions can undertake activity only out of public institutions of this kind. The project was supported by communist deputies and was seriously criticized by opposition deputies, which declared that this initiative wants to destroy the private medicine sector.
