Localities with best baths to be awarded

The government presented awards for districts that will built and repair the majority of public baths and localities which will build the most numerous public baths. It also will be awarded the localities that fit the bus stations at the highest level. According to government decision, approved on meeting of 26 April, the contests for setting winning localities will be held twice a year, on 15 January – 15 April and1 April – 1 September. Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev mentioned that introducing these awards aims encouraging the leaders of local public administrations in organizing development actions of the territory, in the context of implementing the national program „Moldovan Village”. The contest results will be examined by a national commission and the list of winners will be presented to government for approval. The districts building the most numerous public baths will benefit from money awards of 100, 70 and 50,000 lei. I Prize for fitting the baths will represent 50 and 70,000 lei, depending on the number of these, II Prize – 40 and 60,000 lei, and III prize – 30 and 50,000 lei. There will be given awards of 20, 15 and 10,000 lei for fitting the bus stations.
