Thirty-two local elected officials from Hancesti district, who won seats in the 2015 local general elections on the Communist ticket, have announced that they decided to defect from the Party of Communists (PCRM) to the district team of the Democratic Party (PDM), IPN reports.
The signatories of the statement said they do not want to form part of a party that disappointed a lot of voters and continues to disappoint and do not want to form part of a destructive opposition.
When they join the PDM’s team, they will continue to work to deliver their electoral promises.
