The trade in living fish in the Central Market was resumed, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Chisinau City Hall. According to the market's administration, the fish will be sold outside the market, on Mitropolit Varlaam St. There were set up 20 selling places. The sale of living fish was authorized by the State Veterinary Service. More than 21 companies and private individuals have so far asked to be authorized to sell fish. A selling place costs 190 lei a day. The sale of living fish in the Central Market will be allowed by April 2011. Most of the over 1,000 selling places in the Central Market designed for food products are filled before the winter holidays. Usually, about 250 places remain free.
