Auditions for Moldova’s Eurovision national stage will take place Saturday, with the performances to be broadcast live by Moldova 2 and livestreamed by the official website of the contest.
The finalists will be announced during a special broadcast on Moldova 1, starting 7:30 PM.
Of the 60 entries initially submitted for the 2023 Eurovision national stage, 33 were longlisted and two of them were later disqualified. Per the national stage rules, the ten acts to earn the highest scores in the live auditions will advance to the national final.
The 67th Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Liverpool. Because of the war started by Russia, the United Kingdom will host the 2023 edition on behalf of Ukraine, the nation that won last year thanks to the Kalush Orchestra and its song Stefania. The two semifinals will be broadcast live on May 9 and 11, followed by the Final on May 13.
