Lithuanian Speaker to deliver speech in Moldovan Parliament

Speaker of Lithuania’s Seimas, Viktoras Muntianas, will pay an official visit to Moldova on June 21-23, at his Moldovan counterpart’s invitation. The Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas will meet with Moldovan Speaker Marian Lupu, Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev, and other officials. Viktoras Muntianas will deliver a speech in the Parliament’s plenary session on June 22, making after that press statements, together with Marian Lupu. The parliamentary delegation from Lithuania will also meet with members of Moldova-Baltic countries Friendship Parliamentary Group, headed by Iurie Rosca, vice-speaker of the Parliament. The visit’s agenda also includes a meeting of the parliamentary delegation with the Lithuanian community in Moldova, as well as a visit to the historical cultural centre “Orheiul Vechi” (The Old Orhei).
