Lithuanian foreign minister on visit to Chisinau

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Audronius Azubalis will be paying a working visit to Moldova on April 25-26 at the invitation of his Moldovan counterpart Iurie Leanca, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communiqué, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration says that the program of the visit of the Lithuanian official includes bilateral meetings with President Nicolae Timofti and Head of Parliament Marian Lupu. The two foreign ministers will take part in the third meeting of the Moldovan-Lithuanian European integration cooperation commission that will center on aspects of the sector cooperation. The discussions will focus on subjects of common interest concerning the bilateral cooperation, regional and international security and cooperation in prompting reforms and helping Moldova make progress on the path to European integration, especially when Lithuania takes over the presidency of the EU Council in the second half of 2013.
