The Prosecutor’s Office of Orhei district will order a graphological examination of voter lists in order to establish if the Liberal-Democrat Petru Stirbate voted at two polling places, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In a communiqué, the Prosecutor General’s Office says that on November 28, the head of the Orhei local organization of the Liberal Party Sergiu Miron lodged an application with the district Prosecutor’s Office, demanding holding accountable Petru Stirbate, the head of the Orhei local organization of the Liberal Democratic Party. According to the plaintiff, Petru Stirbate had voted two times, at the polling place in Lucaseuca village and at the polling place No. 6 in Orhei town.
The Orhei police commissariat opened a criminal case on the case. The investigation is conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office of Orhei district. The prosecutors say they do not yet have evidence that Petru Stirbate voted indeed at two polling places. Now Stirbate is investigated as a witness.
Representatives of the PCRM made similar accusations against Petru Stirbate.
