List of compensated drugs has been extended

The list of the compensated medicines from the obligatory health insurance Fund was augmented with 19 drugs with common international brands, of which 12 (60 commercial brands) will be partially compensated, and 7 (44 commercial brands) intended for children under 5, which will be entirely compensated. According to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, this year the list of partially compensated drugs from the obligatory health insurance Fund includes 27 drugs with common international brands, which comprise 202 commercial brands registered in Moldova. They are used for treating cardiovascular,; digestive and respiratory diseases. Concurrently, the list of partially compensated drugs for children under 5 incorporates 25 names, which comprise 116 commercial brands. For the prevention and treatment of anaemia among pregnant women, the list includes 2 preparations of common international brands, which comprises 4 commercial brands. According to the source, it was completed the list of diseases with the confirmed diagnosis, which can be treated on an outpatient basis. Thus, this year on an outpatient basis there is ensured the treatment integrally compensated from the obligatory health insurance Funds for 21 diseases, for which 104 preparations of common international name can be prescribed.
