The Green Ecologist Party (PVE) calls on the government not to include the list of possessions proposed for privatization in the agenda of the Parliament’s sittings until the Vilnius Summit. The party said it is the only method of calming things down in society and of showing that dishonest persons interested in dubious sales do not form part of the administration and do not force the authorities to transfer the state property to the oligarchs and millionaires who are in power, on the pretext of the Vilnius Summit, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the party.

According to the PVR, the political, economic and social situation at the start of autumn is worsened by the blackmail and threats from the East, by Moscow’s ultimatum aimed at forcing Moldova to abandon its European course and by the steps taken by some rulers with the aim of appropriating state property.

The Greens call on the Presidential Office, Parliament and the Government to assume responsibility for correctly and constitutionally manage the political, social and economic processes, including in the period before the Vilnius Summit.

The PVE also calls upon the extra-parliamentary parties, the people and civil society to show political maturity and responsibility and to oblige the country’s administration not to yield to pressure and to deviate from Moldova’s European course.
