The Democratic Party dies not need time and communication with other parties to form the future parliamentary majority, while the bloc ACUM needs to prove that last Sunday’s elections were rigged, MP Lilian Carp, who ran on behalf of the bloc ACUM in constituency No. 21 Criuleni, was quoted by IPN as saying in the talk show “Expertise hour” on Jurnal TV channel.
Lilian Carp said the Democratic Party did its best for no one to want to communicate with them. “Plahotniuc does not need time to form this majority and we need time to first of all show that these elections were rigged. And they had been rigged from the day the registration of candidates started until the polling stations were closed. The recent elections were anything, but not elections,” noted the MP.
He considers that if early parliamentary elections are held in democratic conditions, this could mean the start of the end of the “oligarchic gang”. If the legislative elections last Sunday had been held under the proportional representation system and electoral silence had existed, the political reality would have been different and the bloc ACUM and other parties could have formed an alliance without the PDM.
Ex-MP Stela Jantuan said the initiation of a dialogue between political players with different ideologies from political viewpoint would mean a dialogue where the Democrats could be removed from the equation. “The PDM will not yet allow this to happen and we see the trolling staged against the parties that formed the bloc ACUM on social networking sites and on websites controlled by the Democrats. False profiles are used to promote the idea that the supporters of the bloc ACUM would not welcome any discussion with the Party of Socialists. This is done because any dialogue, any technical solution to remove the PDM from the equation would mean this party’s political death,” stated Stela Jantuan.
