“In the runoffs of the local elections, we will return the Chisinau City Hall and the Chisinau Municipal Council to the people,” said the Party of Action and Solidarity’s candidate for mayor of the capital city Lilian Carp. According to him, his team is the one that can change things in Chisinau, IPN reports.
“The people want peace, comfort, normal conditions and solving of major problems. They want a mayor who would work for their comfort and would not be involved in politics and scandals on TV. The PAS team is the only one that can do this. I’m grateful to my mates who worked and devoted themselves to the citizens of Chisinau. Together we can make the difference,” Lilian Carp told a news conference.
Attending the event, PAS leader Igor Grosu, Speaker of Parliament, said that all the PAS candidates are determined, confident and ready to lend a hand to the development of their localities.
“By electing a PAS, European mayor, we are coming closer to the European Union as the EU actually starts from each village and town through the conditions we create there,” stated Igor Grosu.
