The works to set up street lighting on Dacia Blvd, the portion between the Chisinau International Airport and the entrance to Sangera town, will be completed by this yearend. The given portion is the second section that is lit, following the one between the City’s Gates and the Airport, which was put into operation at the start of this year, IPN reports.
The Chisinau City Hall said the works on the second segment, which is 5.2 km long, are carried out according to plan. The workers are now putting up the electricity poles and building power distribution points.
Under the technical project, the poles with one or two arms, which are 10 meters in height, will be placed on both sides of the roadway so as to ensure better visibility.
The works performed on the portion between the Chisinau International Airport and the entrance to Sangera cost about 7 million lei. The money was earmarked in the 1015 budget of Chisinau municipality.
