Painter Lidia Fortuna, who is a primary teacher at the Waldorf Experimental Theoretical Lyceum in Chisinau, has launched an exhibition of paintings entitled “Dialogue between three”. Thirty-four paintings made mainly in blue were exhibited at the Municipal Library “B. P. Hasdeu” in Chisinau, IPN reports.
The author of the exhibition said the title represents a connection between color, subject and the angel that she is permanently looking for. Lidia Fortuna noted she made this series of works under the influence of internal searches and love for color.
The exhibition is dedicated to friendship. The works are made principally in blue-indigo, which is the author’s preferred color. “These works are pieces of my soul. They are very dear to me, but this does not mean that I’m fully satisfied. It seems to me that there is always place for the better and I think long before putting my final signature on them,” stated Lidia Fortuna.
The visitors compared with paintings with the author’s soul. “They are indeed very nice because they have an aerial, angelic leitmotif that takes the soul up. You look at them and feel purer and cleaner. The paintings are similar to the author’s soul,” said visitor Galina Rusu.
The exhibition can be visited until the end of September.
