Actors of the National Puppet Theater “Licurici” of Chisinau will go on a tour of Europe during October 19-29 to present the play “The Nanny Goat and her Three Kids”, directed by Vitalie Jacota, IPN reports
According to the Bureau for Diaspora Relations, the goal of the tour is to promote the fairytales of Ion Creanga among children of the diaspora, strengthening its relations with parents and establishing emotional ties with the native country.
Such a request was made by teachers who work at educational centers opened in the diaspora and was reiterated on the occasion of the Diaspora Days staged by members of diaspora associations, and by parents of children who took part in the 2017 governmental program DOR– Diaspora*Origins*Return.
The tour of the National Puppet Theater “Licurici” is organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of Moldova in partnership with the Bureau for Diaspora Relations of the State Chancellery of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, with financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and with the assistance and involvement of diaspora associations.
