Over 9,000 books for children of all ages were collected as part of the "Library Under the Christmas Tree" campaign, launched by the government. This campaign is in its third edition, IPN reports.
For several weeks, hundreds of citizens, public authority employees, and educational institutions joined the government campaign "Library Under the Christmas Tree".
This year, the collected volumes will be distributed to orphanages and hospitals across the country, where spaces for young readers have been set up.
In the previous edition of the "Library Under the Christmas Tree" campaign, over 5,500 books were collected and later distributed to 50 school libraries.
