The Liberal Party (PL) gained the largest number of votes abroad. 42.2% of the Moldovans that cast their ballots at the polling stations opened abroad voted for the PL. The PL is followed by the PLDM with 32.5% of the ballot, the PCRM – with 9.5%, the PDM – with 6%, the AMN – with 5.8%, Info-Prim Neo reports. 2.6% of the Moldovan voters abroad chose the PPCD, 1% - the PSD, while 0.5% - the PEMAV. In Portugal, the PL polled 39.1% of the ballot, the PLDM – 35.6%, the AMN – 7.9%, the PCRM – 7.7%, the PDM – 5.4%. The PL won 43.8% of the vote in Germany. The PLDM gained 32.4% of the ballot, the PDM – 10.2%, the PCRM – 8%, the AMN – 1.1% In Russia, the PCRM was a leader with 43.8% of the vote. The PLDM garnered 19.1%, the PL – 18.6%, the PDM – 8.6%, the AMN – 6.4%. 42.2% of the Moldovans voted for the PL in the United States. 41.6% chose the PLDM, 6.2% - the AMN, 3.6% - the PDM, 3.2% - the PCRM. As many as 15,357 Moldovans who are abroad took part in the July 29 elections. According to the Central Election Commission, 15,297 of the votes were valid. Thirty-three polling places were set up at Moldova’s embassies and consular offices abroad for the early legislative elections.
