The Liberal Party will have 30 candidates in single-member constituencies in the parliamentary elections of February 24. The list was submitted to the Central Election Commission on January 24. Also today, the president of the Liberal Party Dorin Chirtoacă announced the first ten candidates for MP in the national constituency, IPN reports.

Dorin Chirtoacă heads the list and is followed by Vlad Biletski, Roman Boțan, Veronica Herța, Ion Cebanu, Ion Purice, Vasile Calmațui, Valeriu Ambroci, Alexandru Brînza and Leonid Paerele.

Among the candidates in single-member constituencies are: Iurie Chirinciuc (constituency No.15), Roman Boțan (19), Corina Fusu (25), Vlad Biletski (26), Ion Ciobanu (27), Dumitru Jelescu (29), Veronica Herța (30), and Dorin Chirtoacă (32).

Dorin Chirtoacă said the party fielded candidates not in all the 51 single-member constituencies, but only in those where they consider they have bigger chances of winning. He noted he would like the Liberal Party to be supported and voted, but if the people don’t want to do this, they should support the other unionist candidates, including those of the bloc ACUM.
