“It’s time to hinder those who want to transform Moldova into a pashalik. I will hamper both Plahotniuc and Filat if they do not respect the rules while in power. Lupu broke the law. He had an inappropriate behavior and cheated when he said that he recognizes only one Liberal faction in Parliament,” Liberal MP Valeriu Saharneanu said in the program “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.
Valeriu Saharneanu said that the Moldovans are removed from the European books. “We have one more week to solve this situation. The quarrel inside the AEI is due to two persons who want to control everything in this state. Some perform their party mission in order to promote these interests,” he stated.
In the same connection, the MP said that the leader of the PCRM Vladimir Voronin was hysterical towards the EU as the reactions of the Europeans are normal. “They are people who care about Moldova and gave us a chance. It is the young people and the population who voted for us in 2009 that brought us into Europe,” said Saharneanu.
He also said it’s not obligatory that a new AEI will be created, but the new alliance may have a happier title. “We must forget about party or personal interests as we were elected by the people to do our duty. We must go to Vilnius with the homework done,” he stated.
According to the Liberal MP, time has come for Vlad Filat and Marian Lupu to understand that the hope to take Moldova out of the period of transition is very great, but the chances are minor. Everything is due to the political immaturity of the governors and a presidential decree nominating a candidate for premiership should be signed by May 14.
