Liberal MP Gheorghe Brega said he will vote not for Vlad Filat as Premier, but for the national cause and for avoiding the early legislative elections. He made related statements to the journalists after the Liberal Party head Mihai Ghimpu said that Ana Gutu, of the Liberal faction, intends to vote for Vlad Filat, IPN reports.
“I will never vote for Vlad Filat, but I will never betray the national cause too. I will vote for the national cause, which is the road to Europe. I’m definitely against early elections,” said Gheorghe Brega.
He also said that there is no dictatorship in the Liberal Party and they can state their opinions. “Why do you consider that an agreement was reached? The atmosphere in the party is very good,” said the MP, stressing that Mihai Ghimpu is not angry with Ana Gutu.
Earlier, Mihai Ghimpu said he found out that signatures are being collected in favor of his dismissal from the post of Liberal Party head and that Ana Gutu wants to vote for Vlad Filat as Prime Minister.
