The municipal councilors of the Liberal-Democratic faction accused their Liberal colleagues of more often making common cause with the Communist councilors lately. The Lib-Dems left the meeting of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) after the Liberals and the Communists voted together against a draft decision put forward by them, IPN reports.
The Liberal-Democratic councilors asked annulling a previous CMC decision to offer offices to the Liberal Party on N. Iorga St in central Chisinau. The Communist and Liberal councilors voted against. In reaction, Lib-Dem Ghenadie Ivashchenko said there is solidarity between the Communists and the Liberals and the Liberal-Democratic councilors see no other way out than to leave the assembly hall.
