The Liberal-Democrat lawmaker Petru Sterbate has voted two times – at the polling place in Lucaseuca village of Orhei district, and at a polling place in Orhei town, Communist MP Grigore Petrenco said in a news conference on Tuesday, Info-Prim Neo reports. The MP said all the proofs have been sent to the Prosecutor's Office and they expect that a criminal case will be opened. If he is found guilty, he will serve up to two years in jail. The PCRM identified a number of irregularities in the November 28 elections. There were polling places where the turnout of voters was 100%, but this is impossible, said Grigore Petrenco. At a polling place in Chisinau's Ciocana district a ballot was taken out. The PCRM's jurist Sergiu Sarbu said the students have been taken by bus to polling places in different settlements so that they could vote for several times. The stamp “elections 2010” has been put on the loose leaf accompanying the identity card of some of the voters. The Communists Party announced it would set up a hotline that the people who identified irregularities could use to inform about them. Asked to comment on the aforementioned accusations, Prime Minister Vlad Filat, the president of the PLDM, said that those who want to know how the elections were conducted should seek information from the competent bodies. He said the party that he heads observes the law and considers those who break it must be punished, no matter who they are.
