The MPs of the Liberal Democratic Party no more want to enter the Palace of the Republic, which temporarily houses the Parliament’s sittings, through the lateral doors. They want to use the central door.
A bill to this effect was to be examined in the July 7 sitting of the legislature, but after a break requested by the Liberal-Democratic group, the MPs decided to postpone debates on the bill, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“I do not want to enter Parliament as an intruder,” said the head of the Liberal-Democratic group Valeriu Strelet.
Speaker Marian Lupu said that instead of dealing with important issues, the MPs focus on a ‘shameful’ matter. “There are vainglorious persons who want to walk on a red carpet,” he stated.
