Lib-Dems withdraw from governing alliance's meeting

The representatives of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) left the meeting of the Alliance for European Integration. MP Mihai Shleahtitski said they withdrew because some of the lawmakers of the ruling alliance opposed the presentational by Premier Vlad Fiat of his progress report in Parliament, Info-Prim Neo reports. Sources in the alliance said the participants in the meeting that is held behind closed doors criticized yesterday's decision of the Government to provide allowances to persons on low incomes during the cold period of the year. The Liberal-Democrat MPs said the Prime Minister will render the progress report before the journalists. A meeting with the reporters is expected to take place today at the Government Building, starting at 3pm.
