Dear MPs, it’s a shame that we became voting machines at a time when our leaders conclude transactions,” he stated. His Lib-Dem colleague Alexandru Cimbriciuc said that Vlad Plahotniuc should leave the post of First Deputy Head of Parliament, while Maria Ciobanu urged Vlad Plahotniuc to leave politics. “Mister Plahotniuc, you should abandon your dreams of becoming master of life and destinies. Even if everything they say about Vlad Plahotniuc is not true, he should anyway resign,” she stated. The Communist faction also demands that Vlad Plahotniuc should quit. Under the legislation, the First Deputy Speaker can be discharged on the proposal of the Speaker.
