The Liberal Democratic Party from Moldova (PLDM) launches a campaign called 'The Communist Rule's Dossier'. The party's leader Vlad Filat Monday told a news conference that the drive pursues to uncover the errors of the Communists Party during the ruling year. The results of the campaign will be announced by the year-end, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“During eight year, through the agency of the media subordinated to the authorities, through cheap manipulation, the Communists have committed grave things affecting the country, and these errors are not known by the citizens,” Vlad Filat said.
“We're going to insert facts, decisions of the Government, laws, ordinances into this dossier, which have had a direct impact on the citizens,” the PLDM president said.
Referring to the 2009 elections, Vlad Filat has said the PLDM will come up with model-program based on realities, with a clear and energetic message. “Shortly we'll present our electoral offer to society, with new political, economic and social solutions, to transform Moldova into a modern, democratic, dynamic country, capable to offer its citizens European life standards,” the PLDM leader said.
According to first deputy president of the PLDM, Alexandru Tanase, 'the Communist Rule's Dossier' will be a tool to display what the PLDM and the other parties shall do after the 2009 elections.
They will set a hot line for the public, as anyone will be able to call in and say useful information to determine the state of things in different areas. The infos can also be sent by e-mail at an address to be announced later.
“We consider there is no place for manipulation in the 21st century, the people should decide by themselves whom to vote for. The report will be an information source for the ones willing to change the life in 2009,” the deputy president has said.
The PLDM says it has some 25,000 members and turns one 1 year on December 8.
At its first congress a year ago, Vlad Filat said the appearance of a new political party is justified through the vast disinterest of citizens in the electoral act, through the big number of undetermined, and these facts prove there wide social categories not finding themselves in the present parties from Moldova. The PLDM is a party of liberal democratic orientation, with people's vocation, struggling for building a state of law, democratic and modern, in conformity with the general principles of the Moldovan Constitution, the politician stated then.
