Lexmax Chisinau failed to qualify for the quarterfinals of the Beach Football Champions League “Euro Winners Cup”. On May 16, the Moldovan team lost the second match of group B to France’s Montredon Bonneveine 5-6.
Lexmax were several times behind with a difference of three goals. In the last part of the game they attempted to recover, with Andrei Negara scoring four goals, but were unable to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
In the other match, Besiktas Turkey beat Belenenses Portugal 5-3. The rankings are headed by Besiktas with six points. Montredon Bonneveine and Belenenses have by three points, while Lexmax have no point.
The first “Euro Winners Cup” brought together 20 teams, including 17 champions of European countries.
