The Transnistrian administration ordered inspecting the levees on the Nistru River given that floods were projected for next spring, IPN reports, quoting “Novyi Region” Agency.
According to the Transnistrian authorities, if the weather forecasts that the winter will be rich in precipitation come true, the level of water in the Nustru will rise and there may be floods.
Works to reinforce the levees in the Transnistrian region were carried out after the floods of 2008.
