During the first three days of the school year, special lessons on preventing the A(N1H1) flu virus will be held in schools, as the pupils and the children from kindergartens will be tested by doctors. Such a decision was adopted by the Anti-Epidemic Extraordinary Commission at its sitting on August 6, Info-Prim Neo reports. Education Minister Larisa Savga said they would not delay the beginning of the new school year, as is done in some European countries, since the students exchange in Moldova is not big, as the import of the malady is minor, reads a release by the Government. However, the students will have to produce medical certificates confirming their good health. The certificates will be issued by family doctors. 36 patients suspected of having swine flu have been recorded in Moldova, as two of them proved positive. 193,000 cases of confirmed A(N1H1) infection have been registered up to now in 154 countries, as 1,362 patients have died.
