The persons who build without respecting the technical norms will be penalized. PAS MPs Lilian Carp and Vasile Grădinaru presented a bill to amend the Contravention Code and the Criminal Code, IPN reports.
According to Lilian Carp, the legal framework needs to be amended primarily after a major earthquake in Turkey caused the collapse of many buddings and such a risk should be avoided in Moldova.
The amendments to the Criminal Code and the Contravention Code provide that those who illegally project buildings, without permissive documents, who illegally authorize constructions or illegally execute building works and accept unauthorized constructions will be held accountable. These are filers in the monitoring of the building process.
Vasile Grădinaru said the Criminal Code stipulates penalties for the improper execution of building works, but either does not specify the illegalities at each of the stages of appearance of illegal constructions or the obligatory requirement in the appearance of particular illegal results, death or damage.
