Jurists of the charity foundation “Solutia” warned about the lack of an appropriate legislative framework that would defend the people’s interests. “The authorities are not sufficiently receptive to the people’s problems and give priority to the economic entities that are more powerful or even resort to acts of corruption,” the foundation’s senior juridical consultant Vasile Bolea told a news conference, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the jurist, most of the complaints submitted by people refer to public utilities, the too high tariffs and the fact that they are forced to pay for the losses or thefts from the network. Many complain about the abusive constructions that limit their access to yards or buildings, destroy the green areas or break their peace. The representatives of “Solutia” said they informed the municipal authorities about the necessity of working out regulations that would clearly define the procedure for purchasing plots for construction. Jurist Grigore Novac suggested amending a number of normative documents so as to remove the existing shortcomings and make the current norms more efficient. Relevant proposals will be submitted in the near future. The charity foundation “Solutia” was founded at the start of last September by MP Igor Dodon to deal with the problems faced by the people. Ten to 14 persons come daily to the foundation to tell their problems.
