The Parliament’s first sitting of the autumn-winter session will take place on September 27. After the meeting of the Parliament’s Standing Bureau, Speaker Andrian Candu said the legislature on Thursday is to approve the nominal composition of Moldova’s delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine that is to come together for the first meeting in Tbilisi next week, IPN reports.
The Speaker also said that the Bureau discussed the draft laws put on the list of priorities. These refer to social protection, healthcare, education, the business sector and the financial-banking sector. The bills were agreed with the development partners and are among those requested by the European Union for providing macro-financial assistance.
It was suggested holding the Opposition’s Day in Parliament in the nearest future. On this day, the agenda will include only draft laws proposed by the opposition MPs.
