"Has the PD-PSRM binomial reborn? Today, November 11, quorum at the Legal Committee meeting was provided by PSRM and PDM MPs. ACUM MPs did not attend the meeting", said the Legal Committee for appointments and immunities chairman, Sergiu Litvinenco. According to him, the meeting was convened irregularly.
Sergiu Litvinenco referred to the Regulation of the Parliament and said that a committee meeting is convened either by the chairperson or, in case of his/her absence, by the vice-chair. The meeting was convened by Vasile Bolea, vice-chair, even though the chairman was not absent.
The Committee chairman added that the Regulation of the Parliament does not provide for the necessity to issue a Legal Committee report in case of motions of censure. The Legal Committee has never issued reports regarding motions of censure in the history of Moldovan parliamentarism.
