The Parliament’s commission for appointments and immunities left the giving of a vote of confidence to the Grosu Government to the discretion of the MPs. Such a decision was taken after only two of the commission’s members voted in favor of the positive report on the Grosu Government, while four abstained, IPN reports.

In the meeting of the commission, candidate for Prime Minister Igor Grosu said that if the Government is voted in, it will start to immediately take action, namely to implement the anti-crisis package, and will contribute to the proper holding of elections, including snap ones.

The draft decision on the approval of the Government’s program is to be examined by Parliament on March 25, starting at 10am. The decision was taken by the Parliament’s Standing Bureau.

The MPs will also examine the bill to amend the 2021 state budget law, the bill to amend the law on the common pay grades in the public sector and the salary law, the draft law to amend the law on the principles of subsidization for developing agriculture and other bills.
