The Parliament’s legal commission for appointments and immunities endorsed the two bills put forward by the Communist parliamentary group - concerning the setting of the presidential election day and the constitution of the commission for organizing the election. The bills were approved by the votes of five members of the nine attending, Info-Prim Neo reports. The commission’s chairman Victor Popa said it is now not opportune to approve the given bills and they should wait until the Alliance for European Integration completes the talks with the Communist Party. “These negotiations can last for several years. Our duty is to propose, while you should put the issues to the vote,” said the leader of the Communist group Maria Postoiko. The bills were approved by the votes of the five Communist lawmakers present at the meeting. The other four members of the commission attending, who form part of the ruling alliance, abstained. Another three members were absent. Last week, the two bulls were proposed for examination in Parliament, but were sent back to the parliamentary commissions for reconsideration.
