Prime Minister Iurie Leanca and the Transnistrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk agreed to extend the agreement on the transportation of freight by trains through the Transnistrian segment that was signed one year and a half ago. A document to this respect was signed in Tiraspol on September 23, IPN reports.
It was the first meeting of Iurie Leanca and Yevgeny Shevchuk since the first was invested as Premier.
The agreement on the transportation of freight by trains through the Transnistrian segment was signed on March 30, 2012 by the then Premier Vlad Filat and Yevgeny Shevchuk and was to expire on September 30, 2013.
The agreement was extended for a year and three months.
