Prime Minister Iurie Leanca had a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev. The two discussed the steps that must be taken to resume the exports of Moldovan wine to Russia, expressing their interest in solving the related problems as soon as possible, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Government.
The Moldovan Premier underlined the importance of working out the legal bilateral framework for socially protecting the Moldovans working in Russia.
The officials also discussed the cooperation in the energy sector, the agenda of the bilateral visits and the Transnistrian conflict.
Russia imposed a ban on the imports of Moldovan wine on September 10.
