An official of the Dinamo Club, Tudor Casapu, says the law enforcing bodies wish to have a soccer team in the best football echelon, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“We have very many police officers who have developed a passion for football. We have already a professional team of carabineri playing mini-football. We have to end as soon as possible the construction of the stadium on Gh. Asachi street in the capital, and then we'll practically be obliged to form a professional team for a professionalin the national championship,” he said.
Tudor Casapu says also the employees of the Defense Ministry voice interest for playing soccer, as they annually play in the Dinamo Cup and are seeking for well-trained players. “Many policemen train themselves seriously at least two times a week and play friendly matches.”
The idea to form a team financially supported by the Moldovan law-enforcing bodies emerged after the annual tournament of the recent Dinamo Cup which is joined by different teams from the departments of the Interior Ministry, of the Defence Ministry and of the Anti-Corruption Center.
