Law enforcement bodies in Moldova have created a trade union called Dignity, which is open not only to active employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but also to the retired, and fire fighters as well, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Dignity trade union was founded in October and it recently joined the National Confederation of Trade Unions and the European Confederation of Police EuroCOP. Besides protecting its members' rights, the Dignity union's mission will also be to rehabilitate the reputation of the police, which has been affected lately. The police had a trade union in the period 1995-1999, but it dissolved.
